In India, the Covid 19 vaccination is necessary for all. Currently, the Government opened vaccination windows for the group of 18 to 44 years olds. If you are planning to take the vaccine in coming weeks or you have been vaccinated in the past, as per the doctor’s consultation you need to take some precautions. You should take proper rest for a few days and it is important to keep yourself hydrated.
Most people have faced mild fever or some other kind of problem after getting the vaccine. If you are feeling the same, you do not need to panic. Most health experts suggest some precautions after getting the vaccine. Proper rest is the first thing. We have a few more suggestions for you all.
Take proper rest, do not go to work immediately. As per the doctor’s consultation, they suggest you should take at least 1-2 days of rest and don’t go to the office immediately. In some cases, the side effects can be seen even after 24 hours of the vaccine. So always remember after getting the vaccine, keep an eye on your health and body temperature for at least two days. Some other important things that need to remember after getting vaccinated, as follows:
Avoid Traveling – Please avoid a long trip approximately 2-3 days after getting the vaccine.
Avoid Going in a Crowd – In most cases, people are going outside after taking the first dose. Experts are suggesting you should avoid going to crowded areas after the 1st dose of the vaccine. During this period, one should avoid alcohol and smoking for at least three days.
Drink Water & Stay Hydrated- if you have taken a vaccine in summer, please keep yourself hydrated before and after taking the vaccine. Your diet plays an important role so include fruits, green vegetables, and nuts. Water maintains your body temperature so drink lots of water.
At last, most importantly everyone should remember to do not leave the house without wearing a mask. Always follow government guidelines, keep social distance and wear a mask, because “2 Gaj Doori Mask Hai Zaroori”.
