On Wednesday, an Indian student died in the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. The deceased student was Chandan Jindal from Barnala of Punjab. He was studying at Vinnytsia National Pyroguy, Memorial University, Vinnytsia Ukraine.
According to the report, Chandan had suffered blood clotting issues in his brain. He suffered an ischemic stroke in the brain on 2 February. He was admitted to Emergency Hospital at Vinnytsia but he lost his life and breathed his last earlier on the same day.
Ministry of external affairs Arindam Bagchi stated that his family members are also in Ukraine.
The student’s father was with him at the hospital. Chandan’s father and family members have requested the center to help them bring the body back to India. They also requested an air ambulance from Romania to get immediate help at the border.
Chandan’s uncle Krishan Kumar, who was also in Ukraine with Chandan, but he returned to India said that it was very difficult for them to bring his body from Ukraine as they will face lots of difficulties to bring back his body to the country.
Another incident comes another day when an Indian student from Karnataka, who was studying Medicine in Ukraine died. On Tuesday, Naveen Shekarppa Gyanagouda, went out in the morning to exchange currency and to fetch food, when he was caught in the cannonade, in which he was killed unintentionally.
Due to these situations, Indian PM Narendra Modi decided to talk with senior delegations and will convince the Russian and Ukrainian presidents to stop the war as soon as possible to bring all the Indians back.
